FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Feb. 1, 2007 -- Spherion Corporation, a leading provider of recruiting, staffing and workforce solutions, has announced the appointment of Richard Mazelsky to regional vice president of Staffing Services for the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region. Mazelsky will have sales, marketing, operations and P&L responsibility for this region, which serves Spherion clients and job-seekers from Maine to Mississippi.

Mazelsky has an extensive background in staffing at the senior executive level across a variety of industries, with particular emphasis in accounting and finance, information technology and healthcare. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and economics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
