NEW YORK, NY -- June 18,2002 -- Catalyst today announced the election of Cinda A. Hallman, President and CEO of Spherion Corp., and Rick Wagoner, President, CEO and member of General Motors Board of Directors to the Catalyst Board of Directors. Hallman and Wagoner will join the powerful team of Fortune 500 (F500) CEOs and top business leaders who serve on the Catalyst board to further advance and promote women in business and the professions.

Prior to being appointed to her current position in 2001, Hallman had a distinguished 20-year career with DuPont, where she was senior vice president of global systems and processes. A 25-year veteran of GM, Wagoner was also appointed to his current position in 2000. He previously served as president and chief operating officer since 1998, and prior to that as executive vice president and president of North American Operations. GM, long-time supporter of Catalyst, most recently sponsored the 2002 Catalyst Awards Conference held in April in New York City .
