In his session, entitled “New Breed of Worker: The Changing Attitudes of America's Workforce,” Archer will address pressing issues such as recruitment, demographic shifts, job security, employer trust, work environment and employee satisfaction.
“Some experts project that by the year 2008, there will be five million more jobs than workers,” said Archer. “As the economy recovers and the financial labor pool continues to shrink, it is critical that organizations focus on how to attract and retain their top performers.”
Archer has more than 20 years of recruitment experience in the finance and accounting arena. As president of Spherion Professional Recruiting, Archer is responsible for managing the operations, profitability and strategic direction of the business unit that provides full-time and flexible employees in the following disciplines: finance and accounting, engineering and manufacturing, interim executives, legal, sales and marketing, human resources and information technology. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Personnel Consultant and a Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist.
