St. Louis, Mo and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. , October 31, 2000—Librix Learning and Spherion®, (NYSE:SFN), a leading provider of IT solutions for the new economy, have announced a strategic alliance to deliver Web-based learning and performance management solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, the companies will work together to design and implement customized solutions based on the LIBRIX Performance Management System, an integrated Web-based solution enabling organizations to define competencies, assess skills and identify gaps; prescribe targeted learning activities; deliver content, assessments and surveys; obtain immediate feedback and track results; and build a comprehensive skills inventory.

Spherion will provide implementation, system integration, customization and training services to clients to assist them in taking full advantage of the capabilities of the LIBRIX Performance Management System.
