Spherion Introduces Integrated Windows 2000 Support Offering

Lyndhurst, NJ, September 6, 2000—Spherion®, (formerly Interim Technology), a leading provider of technology infrastructure support, is pleased to announce that it will now offer a fully integrated Windows 2000 support service offering to assist clients with the planning, design and implementation of Windows 2000 migration across their enterprises.

With Netware 3.11 and 3.12 support recently discontinued by Novell, many small and midsize businesses will look to upgrade their operating systems. Many will look towards Windows 2000.

Transitioning to the Windows 2000 operating system throughout an organization can be complicated. The process may put additional stress on support organizations, and could result in frustrated end users, increased costs for implementation and lost productivity. Spherion, with the addition of its Windows 2000 support offering, has developed a working solution to ease this transition for clients.

“We are committed to assisting our customers and their organizations through the migration process, analyzing their specific environments and customizing an implementation plan that seamlessly migrates the enterprise to Windows 2000 technology,” said Robert Miano, president, Spherion’s Technology Infrastructure Solutions Group. “Spherion is uniquely qualified to deliver these services based on our ability to analyze our clients’ environments, both from a technology infrastructure and a technology skills/training perspective as well as our ability to implement the right solution with on-going support.”

“Our unique approach to Windows 2000 support is a valuable addition to our full service offerings and we have experienced great interest in the product to date,” added Dan Pollera, vice president for the Company’s Network Solutions practice. “Our team of consultants will be able to increase an organization’s productivity as well as ease administration burdens by focusing on the correct implementation of Windows 2000.”
