The prestigious list, reported by Forbes on March 27, 2007, ranks 100 American companies that "showed the highest degree of accounting transparency and fair dealing to stakeholders during 2006," according to Audit Integrity, Inc., a leading independent research firm, which produced the list.

Spherion's score of 86 places the company in the top quarter of the rankings.

To determine the rankings, Audit Integrity used financial and non- financial measures designed originally to monitor the factors associated with fraud or financial misrepresentation. Then, an Accounting and Governance Risk (AGR®) score was constructed for each company.
