FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Spherion Corporation (NYSE: SFN) today announced key senior appointments in the Company's recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) services division. Greg Eierman has joined as vice president of operations and Jennifer Beck has been appointed the vice president of Spherion RPO's newly established Strategy Management Office. In addition, Sue Marcus has been named vice president focusing on developing new business client partnerships and Daniel Oakes will serve as the director of solutions design.
All of the executives bring extensive experience in business development and operations to their new positions. Spherion RPO's expanded leadership team underscores the company's long-standing focus on client service and commitment to enhance the RPO division's innovation and growth potential.

Greg Eierman has been appointed vice president of operations where he will oversee Spherion's RPO engagements and ensure continued success for all clients. Eierman joins Spherion's RPO division from Alexander Mann Solutions where he served as the Americas general manager responsible for driving new business development in the U.S., Canada, Central and Latin America. He replaces Jennifer Beck who will now lead Spherion's recently established Strategy Management Office. Prior to Alexander Mann, Eierman worked in the Global RPO group at Accenture. He has extensive experience in sales and operations, as well as global solution development.
Jennifer Beck will serve as vice president leading Spherion RPO's Strategy Management Office. In this role, she will oversee the development of innovative talent acquisition strategies and initiatives which will be leveraged across Spherion's RPO client partnerships. For over two years, Beck has been responsible for client service excellence and expanding Spherion's RPO client base. Previously, Beck was director of operations for several large RPO accounts located in the U.S. and Canada.

Sue Marcus has been with Spherion for over 16 years, working in both Canada and the United States. Her career started in recruiting for Fortune 500 clients in Spherion's Toronto, Ontario and Torrance, California branches. Marcus was responsible for managing some of the Company's large client partnerships and served as the Western regional sales director for Spherion Staffing. In her new position, Marcus will serve as vice president in the RPO division focused on developing new business client partnerships.
As director of solutions design, Daniel Oakes will focus on designing RPO solutions that support complex talent acquisition programs, utilizing the various delivery channels provided by Spherion. He will be responsible for sales support efforts, implementation and due diligence, as well as hiring process re-engineering projects. Oakes brings 18 years of combined experience and knowledge in RPO, recruiting and human resources to his new position. With an extensive background in RPO, process improvement and Six Sigma training, he will help Spherion RPO clients develop and deploy projects that drive strategic change in their organizations.
