CHICAGO, IL., September 30, 2005 — Spherion Corporation (NYSE:SFN) announced that Richard A. Lamond, senior vice president and chief human resources officer, will serve as the moderator at the Executives’ Club of Chicago panel discussion “Sourcing Talent for Your Organization: Putting the Finger on the Right Recruits” on October 6, 2005, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. CDT.

The distinguished panel includes several leading HR executives, including Jason Jeffay, North American practice leader for talent and organizational consulting for Hewitt Associates; Lori Komstadius, executive vice president of human resources for CNA; and John Scully, group senior vice president of human resources for LaSalle National Bank. The panelists will discuss the sweeping changes that will soon affect the workforce and offer successful recruiting and HR strategies that will help company executives position their organizations as employers of choice in the looming battle for talent. Lamond will also share findings from Spherion’s comprehensive workforce studies which track the changing attitudes and opinions of U.S. workers.
